This report illustrates the importance of establishing wear trends in oil
analysis. It can be hard to tell what's wrong when we've only seen one sample from an engine. Iron's high level may reflect a poorly wearing steel part, or it may
be accumulated wear if the owner was running long oil changes. Until we see wear history, it's hard to tell exactly what the problem is.
