Industrial

Maintaining a line is hard work. Industrial groups have traditionally changed oil on an elapsed-time basis. This can result in dumping millions of gallons of good oil annually, while doing little to prevent oil-related problems such as “leakers”: machines that leak oil from various seals, costing millions in new oil purchases and waste oil disposal. Instead of changing the oil based on time or visual appearance, let oil analysis provide you with the hard data you need to keep your machinery in good working order, with the added benefit of saving money.

Industrial oil analysis can identify developing mechanical problems before they put a stop to production. An analysis can also be used to check the quality of incoming oil, reduce the number of oil types on the property, choose between oil vendors when prices are similar, and check waste oils for handling requirements before it is shipped.

It’s time to bring your maintenance program into the 21st century! Less down-time equals more production, so taking the time to sample can pay big dividends for a company. Oil analysis can be used on hydraulic oil, spindle oil, lube oil, compressor oil, cutting oil, emulsified oil, and more. In addition to our standard analysis, we can perform a variety of tests, including Total Acid Number* and Particle Count. To see a list of the services we provide, please click here. *The TAN, or Total Acid Number, is a neutralization test that determines the acidity of an oil. In order for the TAN to be useful, it’s helpful know the TAN number on the unused oil product. An increase in this number indicates increasing acidity of the used oil.
